Describe bulky items as items, not just a pile size
Explain the clearout, whether mattresses or other large furnishings are involved and what additional material will be removed. Ask about an appropriate accepted container or another collection arrangement. A large item may affect acceptance and handling even when it appears to fit inside the proposed container. Do not assume a general household-debris description communicates every item the provider needs to review.
Distinguish a receiving facility from the rented service
Tooele County’s official solid-waste information lists mattresses separately from household, construction and dumpster categories. That supports asking a specific acceptance question; it does not establish that every rental provider takes mattresses or that a public receiving charge is the price of collection from a property. Confirm the actual offered service, property position and loading instructions. Identify e-waste, hazardous or unknown items separately rather than combining them with the furnishings.
Confirm what the customer and collector each do
Ask whether the offer is for a delivered container, a separately arranged removal service or another accepted option. Do not assume a container delivery includes carrying furniture from rooms, dismantling it or collecting unrelated items left beside the load. Follow the provider’s loading limits and agree final collection. If people working at the property also need temporary toilets, describe that ordinary bathroom need independently. Actual Tooele County route and material acceptance remain subject to review.
Questions before you book
Does a dumpster delivery automatically include carrying mattresses out of the building?
No. Ask what collection and handling are actually included. A container hire and a separate carry-out service are different scopes.
